However, I do believe the small fraction it may appeal to has grown a bit over the past one and a half years or so. It is still a tiny fraction, but I would however argue that doesn't mean that the absolute numbers, small as they may be in relation, aren't concerning as a factor in and of itself. AQ and its affiliates weakness beyond their own operating area is that the violent jihadist message does not resonate actively with the vast majority of Muslims.
